Sweden, Norway Sell Down SAS Stakes

The governments of Sweden and Norway have each sold part of their stakes in SAS Scandinavian Airlines.

Sweden’s sale will reduce its stake from 21.4 percent to 17.2 percent and Norway will own 11.5 percent of the airline, down from 14.3 percent.

Denmark said it has no plans to sell any of its 14.3 percent shareholding in SAS.

After the sale the governments of Sweden, Norway and Denmark will own a combined 43 percent of the carrier, down from 50 percent.
