Flybe To Start Flying From London Heathrow

December 20, 2016

UK regional airline Flybe will add London Heathrow to its route network from March 2017, flying to Aberdeen and Edinburgh.

Flybe will use Heathrow slots made available by British Airways as an EU condition permitting the sale of BMI to BA’s parent IAG. It will offer 40 flights a week to the two Scottish airports.

Flybe said in a statement it is not required to pay for the slots, but will not own them.

The airline will use Heathrow's Terminal 2 and is expected to add codeshare agreements with international carriers using the London airport.
