Delta To Cancel 90 Flights On Wednesday

Delta cancelled 775 flights on Tuesday as it moved towards normal operations after the power outage that caused system-wide disruption.

Delta said in a statement that the outlook for Wednesday is positive, with about 90 cancellations expected at the beginning of the day leading to normal operations later.

“We will have a small number of cancellations in the morning as our operation restarts, so we continue to ask our customers to check their travel plans and flight status,” Dave Holtz, Senior VP – Operations said.

“We apologise to everyone who has been affected by these events, and we thank them for their patience.”
