Boeing Opens 777X Parts Plant In St. Louis

Boeing has opened a new manufacturing facility in St. Louis to build composite parts for the 777X.

The production of 777X wing parts will begin there in early 2017, with first aircraft delivery scheduled for 2020.

Boeing expects about 700 jobs to be created at the new plant.
