Boeing, IranAir Confirm 80 Aircraft Deal

Boeing and Iran Air have agreed an order for 80 aircraft in a deal worth USD$16.6 billion at list prices.

The purchase agreement includes 50 737 MAX 8s, 15 current model 777-300ERs and 15 of the new 777X generation 777-9s.

Boeing said it coordinated with the US Government as it negotiated the deal and will follow all license requirements as it implements the agreement.

The first aircraft in the order are scheduled for delivery in 2018.
