Second Runway Reopens At Dubai Airport

August 5, 2016

Normal runway operations have resumed at Dubai Airport after the wreckage of the crashed Emirates Boeing 777 was removed and the runway reopened.

Emirates, however, said it expected flight disruptions to continue for the next 36 hours.

An investigation into the EK521 crash will include the United States and Britain, countries involved in the manufacture of the aircraft and its engines, and Boeing, Rolls-Royce and Emirates.
