Philippine Airlines has firmed up an order for five Bombardier Q400 aircraft, a deal worth USD$165 million at list prices.

The agreement includes purchase rights for a further seven Q400s. If the options are taken up, the total order would be worth USD$401 million at list prices.

The Bombardier Q Series “has enabled us to develop our business model into one which efficiently meets our domestic route requirements,” Philippine Airlines chief operating officer Jaime Bautista said.

The five Q400s are due to be delivered during 2017.
