DHL, Mubadala Agree Freight, Logistics Deal

DHL Global Forwarding, Deutsche Post’s freight subsidiary, and Mubadala Development Company have agreed a five-year partnership.

DHL will provide logistics expertise to the Abu Dhabi-based investment company’s Mubadala Aerospace business.

“As Abu Dhabi’s aerospace cluster develops… a robust supply chain supported by DHL, will be an essential part of future success,” Mubadala Aerospace chief executive Homaid Al Shimmari said.

DHL said that about 66 percent of the cargo volume shipped for Mubadala will be air freight.
