British Airways Restarts Tehran Flights
September 1, 2016
British Airways has restarted flights to Iran’s capital Tehran after a four year break.
The six times a week service started September 1 after sanctions were lifted earlier in the year.
“British Airways has a long history of flying to Iran so we are very excited to be launching our new six times a week service, direct from Heathrow to Tehran,” British Airways’ Head of network Sean Doyle said.
BA is the second European airline after Air France to resume flights.
