Hong Kong Visitors Numbers Up 15.3 Pct

Visitor arrivals to Hong Kong in February rose 15.3 percent from a year earlier to 3.37 million, data from the Hong Kong Tourism Board showed on Monday. The figure brings cumulative arrivals for the first two months of 2012 to about 7.51 million, up 15.2 percent from the same period last year.

Proportionally the biggest growth came in visitors from Europe, the Middle East and Africa with the number being up 28.1 percent to a total of 181.694.
