Turkey's Tourism Revenues Down 1 Pct

Turkey's tourism revenues fell 1 percent year-on-year in the fourth quarter to USD$5.21 billion, the Turkish Statistics Institute said on Monday.

Revenues, which are an important source of foreign currency for Turkey, had risen 8.9 percent in the third quarter to USD$9.34 billion, according to previously released data.

In 2011 as a whole, tourism revenues were USD$23.02 billion, jumping from USD$20.8 billion in 2010.
