Asur Posts 74 Pct Rise In Profit In Q4

Mexican airport operator Asur said on Wednesday that its net profit in the fourth quarter rose by 74 percent from the same period in 2009, which was hit by recession and a flu outbreak.

Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste, which has nine airports in the country, reported profit of MXP278.2 million pesos (USD$22.6 million) in the October-December period.

Revenue at the company was up by 58 percent to MXP1.19 billion pesos during the quarter, the company said.
