JetBlue Reports August Traffic, CFO To Retire

JetBlue Airways reported a 6.2 percent increase in traffic for August as revenue passenger miles rose to 4.21 billion.

Load factor was 87.4 percent, up 0.4 percentage points from the same month last year on a 5.7 percent capacity increase.

Separately, JetBlue announced that its chief financial officer Mark Powers will retire on November 1, 2016. He will remain an advisor to the company for a year.
