Turkey's national carrier Turkish Airlines posted a net profit of TRY193.1 million lira (USD$105 million) up from a TRY170 million loss in the same period a year earlier.
Sales rose to TRY3.84 billion from TRY2.80 billion a year earlier, the company said in stock exchange filing on Saturday.
Turkish Air operates scheduled services to 159 international destinations and 3 domestic airports and has been a member of the Star Alliance since 2008.
