GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of General Electric, has committed to buy 100 Boeing 737 planes, the two firms said at the Farnborough Airshow on Tuesday.
The deal involves 75 Boeing 737 MAX 8 planes and 25 next-generation 737-800s, the firms said.
