UK low fare leisure airline Jet2.com has marked the first anniversary of its flying from Glasgow Airport by announcing the creation of 50 news jobs.
The company will also base a third aircraft at the airport from next summer to increase its number of flights.
It will recruit pilots, cabin crew and ground staff as it increases the number of seats to destinations from Glasgow to 500,000.
Around 250,000 passengers have flown with the airline from Glasgow in its first year.
Steve Heapy, chief commercial officer of Jet2.com said: "Our first year at Glasgow Airport has been tremendously successful.
"Adding new destinations demonstrates our commitment to growth in Glasgow and we aim to continue to add routes that reflect our customers' holiday choices. Majorca, Turkey and Cyprus are proving extremely popular at the moment with bookings for next year already soaring."
