Japanese budget carrier Skymark Airlines placed a firm order for two Airbus A380 aircraft at the Paris Air Show on Thursday, taking its total orders for the superjumbo to six.
"The Japanese carrier plans to start operations with the A380 on international routes linking Narita to destinations in Europe and the US," Airbus said.
Total firm orders for the A380 stand at 236 from 18 customers worldwide, and 51 aircraft have so far been delivered to six customers, Airbus said.
