Colombian airline Avianca signed a memorandum of understanding to purchase 18 Airbus A320 and 33 A320neo aircraft at the Paris Air Show on Wednesday.
The A320s are worth USD$1.5 billion and the A320neo aircraft are worth USD$3 billion, based on list prices.
Airbus is proving a major success in terms of orders at this year’s show.
