Russian airline Aeroflot said Tuesday nine-month net profit reached USD$170.4 million, up 20.7 percent from the year-earlier period, thanks to the company's anti-crisis cost-cutting measures.
Sales totaled USD$2.46 billion in the first nine months of 2009, down 31.2 percent from a year ago.
Earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) declined 10 percent year-on-year to USD$430 million.
