Jet Airways CEO Resigns, Acting CEO Named

Indian carrier Jet Airways on Thursday said its CEO Wolfgang Prock-Schauer has resigned, effective October 15.

Nikos Kardassis, who was Senior Vice President, The Americas for the airline will take over as acting chief executive, the company said in a statement.

Kardassis was formerly the CEO of Jet from 1994 to 1999, while Prock-Schauer took over in 2003, the company said.
