Aeroflot Board Fires CEO Okulov

The board of Russia's state-controlled airline Aeroflot has removed veteran chief executive Valery Okulov, a source at the transport ministry said on Thursday, confirming an Interfax report.

Okulov, the son-in-law of Russia's first president Boris Yeltsin, is to be replaced by Vitaly Saveliev, an executive at services conglomerate Sistema, the spokesman said.
