Loss-making Scandinavian airline SAS said on Monday it was in discussions with ISS regarding a possible takeover of the airline's SGS ground service unit in Finland.

SAS, half-owned by Sweden, Norway and Denmark, said in a statement the two firms had agreed general terms, but that due diligence had yet to be finished.

SAS said it aimed to conclude the deal at the beginning of May. Terms were not disclosed.
