Scandinavian airline SAS on Friday posted a 14.8 percent year-on-year fall in January passenger traffic and said it had cut capacity some 10 percent in January in light of weakening demand.
The airline, half of which is owned by Sweden, Norway and Denmark, said its passenger load factor fell 3.6 percentage points year-on-year to 60.7 percent in January.
Yield in December, the latest month for which data is available, was up 5 percent and the airline said it expected the change in yield for January to be positive compared to last year too.
