French airport operator Aeroports de Paris (ADP) said on Friday its board approved a plan to invest EUR2.54 billion euros (USD$3.26 billion) over the period 2009-2013.
It said the investment scheme, originally proposed on December 3, will mark an increase in annual spending from an estimated EUR457 million in 2008 that should peak at EUR614 million in 2011.
Among projects to be covered by the investment are the completion of renovation work on Terminal 1 of Paris-Charles de Gaulle and an overhaul of Terminal 2B.
Europe's second-largest airport operator in terms of revenue, ADP operates three airports around Paris and handled 87.1 million passengers in 2008.
