Continental Airlines said on Monday that consolidated passenger revenue per available seat mile increased by between 6.5 percent and 7.5 percent in May.

The fourth-largest US airline by passenger traffic said its consolidated load factor -- the percentage of seats filled with paying passengers -- fell 0.3 points from a year earlier to 81.2 percent.
