AMR Sets USD$150 Mln Savings Target

AMR, the parent of American Airlines, plans to trim costs by USD$150 million in 2008, the airline's chief financial officer said on Wednesday.

The No. 1 US carrier faces "unexpected fuel head winds" that require cost cuts, Tom Horton said on a conference call with analysts and reporters.
