Airbus said on Monday that airline TAP Portugal had agreed to acquire 17 new Airbus planes worth USD$2.6 billion at list prices.
Airbus said in a statement that the deal would include 10 of its newest model, the A350, and seven of its mid-sized A330-200s.
The plane maker said that deliveries of the A330s were scheduled to begin in 2007, with A350 deliveries to start in 2013.
