Lufthansa and the Almea Foundation now own 98.7 percent of Swiss International Air Lines via Switzerland-based AirTrust, Lufthansa and Swiss said in a statement on Thursday.
Minority shareholders of Swiss have offered 14.1 percent of Swiss shares on top of the 84.6 percent that Swiss's major shareholders undertook to sell to AirTrust, the statement said.
Early this month, the two companies said Lufthansa and Almea owned 96 percent of Swiss.
