A Delta Air Lines Boeing 737 with 104 passengers ran off a runway at Atlanta Hartsfield Airport on Thursday and got stuck in the mud, authorities said.
No injuries were reported aboard Flight 782 the Federal Aviation Administration said.
The aircraft reported engine trouble before landing, the FAA said. It ran off the end of rain swept Runway 8 Left, leaving its nose landing gear stuck in the mud.
The incident, combined with bad weather, caused long delays for some flights at one of the world's busiest airports. Air traffic controllers also temporarily prohibited departures of flights destined to Atlanta from key airports.
