Hawaiian February Passenger Numbers Ease Back

Hawaiian Air published its February traffic statistics showing a slight drop in passengers carried for the month.

February saw a 1.6 percent decline in passenger numbers to 828,582, against the same month in 2016. Revenue, in RPM terms, was up 4.8 percent on a similar number of available seat miles to last year. Load factor saw a healthy 3.8 percentage point rise to 82.9 percent.

For the 12 month period to end February, Hawaiian carried 1.9 percent more passengers at 1.76 million, with RPMs up 7.3 percent, and load factor up 3.4 percentage points.
