British Airways Flights Delayed After Computer Problem

September 6, 2016

Computer problems at British Airways caused widespread check-in delays at many airports on Tuesday morning.

The airline said in a posting on its website that it was checking passengers in normally at London Heathrow and Gatwick airports, although the process was taking longer than normal.

Passengers were requested to check-in online before arriving at the airport.

Posts on the British Airways Twitter feed indicted that some flights had been cancelled and there were widespread delays.

The airline apologised for the delays and said everything was being done to get operations back to normal.
