Airlines were warning today of possible disruption to services as public sector unions in France again took strike action over government pension reforms.
Most carriers were attempting to operate normal schedules to and from France today but the strike will spill over into Friday when further problems are expected.
The stoppage is due to start at 6pm Thursday local time and passengers are being asked to contact their airline for the latest information.
They are also being advised to allow extra time for travel to French airports. Rail and bus services will be limited because of the strikes.
This is the fourth consecutive week that the unions have taken action, but the French government says it is determined to press on with pension reforms.
